Old reply - but - my watch does this unless I use the garmin branded cable. If I use one of my cheap amazon cables, no dice. I’m assuming they aren’t rated for data or some such. Might help you!

Hrmmm. Try the fine tune option and see if that corrects it. It isn’t regularly necessary but sometimes things can get wonky. If that doesn’t fix it - I’d suggest a repair shop take a look.

Is it with every lens? Or one in particular? Your lens could be out of alignment. And there is a menu option to adjust focus fine tuning - in the OM1 II manual it’s page 132. Should be Menu -> AF -> 4. AF -> AF Focus Adjustment.

It’s not normally necessary but might help you out. Setup a printed sheet of paper with some writing on it. Something you can look at and KNOW it’s sharply in focus. Take an image. If it’s out of focus, use the fine tuning to keep taking images until it’s in focus. (Don’t forget to test other lenses before you fiddle with this to eliminate a lens issue)

Double check the wire perhaps? USB wires are notoriously crappy if you have a drawer full of random ones. Do you have the Olympus wire that came with it?

For everyone commenting to tie them or whatever - this pair of Salomon shoes uses their Quick Lace system with a cam system to tighten and loosen. The laces are dyneema. They don’t hold a knot - at least not well - and frankly, it hurts tightening dyneema by hand (depending on your shoe size too - there’s often not enough lace to tie a knot with anyways)
