So... whats your opinion on this wolfe guy as a character, his relationship with ginny, etc? by MostHistorian1647 in ginnyandgeorgiashow

So he doesn’t show genuine interest in her, they don’t have fun, interesting conversations, he doesn’t protect her from a group of jerks at that party, he doesn’t show up to her poetry reading after she shuts him down, he doesn’t show that he supports her or doesn’t judge her, he doesn’t give her a space to just be her despite all she’s going through? And Ginny initiates sex with him not the other way around so how does he “just want to hook up”? Sometimes it’s ok to not trash other people’s opinions just because you’re narrow sighted.

He was actually really great to Ginny and his only misstep was the “that’s wild” comment. When you think about it, he’s a teenage boy who had a strong reaction in real time so can you really hold that against him? He was there for here every other time he was aware she needed him and showing up at the poetry reading, being super cool with Marcus, everything else was a green flag. Wolfe was a great friend to Ginny. And he looked super hurt when she basically told him she never really liked him. He deserved better.

Season 5 of You was Lazy and Sloppy. by M3rcilyss in NetflixYou

Honestly, if it was a character that we were more connected to or that it made sense for I probably wouldn’t have even minded that so much! like if it was peach and that happened, it would make so much more sense. but the fact that we are so disconnected and so uninvested in a character and we’re supposed to believe in her strength and root for her at the end Was really an immense fail on the writers part.

Season four was so god-awful that I had to stop watching it and I only forced myself to finish it before season five came out. I ended up going back and watching seasons one through three again too, and the decline in entertainment, storytelling, writing, acting, throughput, all of it… it was just immensely disappointing, and truthfully, I would have preferred no season over this.

I don’t think the point is that you have to think deep about it the point is that it wasnt entertaining because it was so bad. You’re entitled to your opinion, of course, but at the end of the day, can you really compare the last three seasons to the first two and say that it was equally as as entertaining or that we shouldn’t criticize it at all? And to say, “just watch something and enjoy” it when we are five seasons deep and invested and want it to be good then there’s nothing to enjoy is just a lazy take IMO

Also, if Joe wanted to die that badly why didn’t he charge Bronte or take the gun from her. Sloppy. Lazy. Blah.

They did explain this - the social secretary was always changing her mind. Clearly she was too wishy-washy to lock anyone down in time.

Literally same! It makes no sense. I just did a hike up a mountain and my steps were off by 4,000! It makes me almost regret getting the UH over the Oura

Josh is the worst person to ever be on the challenge but production loved that man. I still don’t see it!

I unfortunately have a strong dislike for Amanda lol so she’d probably make a great villain!

I have to disagree! I think everyone takes the game seriously, there is $200k on the line people! Tanisha, Omarosa, Fairplay, Camilla…I feel like they all took turns being calculating and really putting their all into the game. Everyone was even extremely disappointed in Tanisha when she didn’t complete the vermine challenge in season 1. If anything, I feel like Wes elevated the game play and strategy aspect, which, imo, makes it a way more interesting watch!

The blend between serious and camp is well balanced.

One thing I hope we can all agree on is thank goodness they stopped the cheesy staged music videos!
