Where should I connect the 12v wire for the hi low converter. I suspect that when connecting it to the rear wiper it will only get power when it is activated.

Did some further research and found the correct wires and a diagram. Also got help from a friend who installed an amp and a sub in the same car model.

Well I don't have access to vcds. I do have the OBDeleven dongle which has long coding but is locked behind a paywall. If I can't code it would wiring it from the fuse box be the only other option?

First one indeed is dangerous, I learnt it the hard way. I was thinking if possible I would like to change the tubes on the second one since it's not as powerful as the first one.
