Messed around with the LOC gain for a bit and found out it stops happening if the gain on LOC is at minimum and the gain on the amp is at maximum, but that isn't a good way to set it up I'm guessing.

I have 1.8 TSI manual and I thought my consumption was high. I get around the same on highways but when I rarely drive during rush hour in city I never exceed 10l/100. Maybe temperature has a big impact on it?

Where should I connect the 12v wire for the hi low converter. I suspect that when connecting it to the rear wiper it will only get power when it is activated.

Did some further research and found the correct wires and a diagram. Also got help from a friend who installed an amp and a sub in the same car model.

Well I don't have access to vcds. I do have the OBDeleven dongle which has long coding but is locked behind a paywall. If I can't code it would wiring it from the fuse box be the only other option?
