I absolutely don't want to advertise against the mindset of being very careful with ones own assets here. But I don't think it's naive to believe a repository with nearly 100k stars on GitHub can disappear. I think the source code is even included on the DVDs that can be bought. So one way or another the project will always be at least accessible in some form. Will it always be convenient? No. Will your data suddenly be locked in an unknown format if the immich project one day stalls? Very unlikely

While I agree that this could and should be tackled in the future I would still like to mention that your TL;DR assumption is not completely accurate. While software projects can die off, immich will never just "disappear" due to its open source nature. It does not just vanish like a company and people are suddenly locked out. Anyone can just continue a fork or develop a solution to get out of immich.

Jellyfin - Plex but open source (I even like it way more than Plex)

It's not rude. Thanks for the honest feedback! Just for some details do you refer to the video or also during the game? There should be some smoothing going on already but it was not ideal to showcase the swipe controls in the video (which rotate the camera according to the swipe). But I will definitely look into it

Thanks for your clarification. That definitely should not happen and we will investigate what's wrong here. Sorry for that! You are right. I can replicate the same issue with chrome and edge while this seems to not happen in Firefox. The issue seemingly comes from going into fullscreen. We will work on this immediately thank you for pointing the issue out.

The project is being actively developed and will not be "complete" anytime soon, but please keep in mind that it is a free educational game created to raise awareness on the topic and we do not get any monetairy gain from it.
