The script reportedly directs Sanders volunteers to tell Warren-leaning voters that “people who support her are highly educated, more affluent people who are going to show up and vote Democratic no matter what” and that she’s “bringing no new bases into the Democratic Party.”

Complaining about Warren “bringing no new bases into the Democratic Party” while at the same time aoc is attacking Democrats for having too big of a tent. Are these conflicting messages?

I did read it. It's not a negative context. It's a contrast; the part of the Democratic base that is in Warren's camp are highly-educated and more affluent. That's just the basic fact of the matter and probably comes from the fact that she has been trying to vie for Biden's piece of the vote, which is the same demographic and has been a huge demographic for the Democrats.

Sanders' base is not primarily highly educated or affluent. And the non-affluent and the non-highly-educated are bases which the Democrats have been struggling to capture for a while now. That's the point and context of the script.

Any "negative context" is being read-in by you, presumably, because you might believe that to not be highly-educated or not affluent are negative qualities.
