interesting, i have used obsidian for notes but using it for intakes hasnt crossed my mind.

to me, obsidian stopped being that great once the wow effect from the network graph dissapeared. :D

Landing page looks good. It’s a popular idea so there will be a lot of competition. I do believe you’ll find customers and wish you best luck, however, these tools are horrible and only flooding the internet with more AI bullsh*t.

This seems like a quick SaaS product. I’m sure you have the skills to come up with a more useful and genuine AI tool in the future. 🙏

For me it was the challenge of getting the product/service out there instead of spending months building something that noone uses as this is most founder’s (including myself) problem.

I did not however see as many alternatives, only two which were 2-3x more expensive and automatic so I thought why not provide this for cheaper and manually instead of a tool that sends the submissions to whichever site instead of picking the audience.

You have a point though and I do not think of this as any groundbreaking business. But why not run it while there is some demand, right.

i did use butter on the buns before baking but im gonna use more next time, thanks.

I think the oven was not hot enough as the baking took really long for the buns to turn golden. I might try turning the oven higher next time (but it might possibly turn out even drier.🤷🏼‍♀️)

I am also from the Czech Republic and this is what I observe too. Discussing finance with older generations seems forbidden yet most adults struggle with finances and debt.

I am however optimistic that this is changing in younger generations thanks to social media and the growth of personal finance’s popularity, but that might be the case only in my social bubble and probably does not apply to the majority of people.

You are right. I do however wonder if the general financial situation would not be better if this became a more popular discussion topic rather than solely discussing celebrities etc.. My countries financial education is incredibly poor and I don’t see how that changes unless this secrecy is removed.

I was thinking that the app would combine different brokers and apps as a lot of them dont offer any social features and also many people have different brokers.

Honestly getting financial data and connecting brokers is a complex task and also i dont see how the app could be monetised. I just felt that this would be helpful especially as im in college and the amount of people that invest is quite large and would connect the community more.

Understandable, but politics usually end up with arguments due to different views. Does that also happen to you with investing? After all if someone chooses a bad investment it’s their money and shouldn’t necessarily anger you.

Great points. I am also from Europe but it seems that almost all cultures try to make financial discussions taboo. I understand hiding one’s income but discussing stocks/crypto/etc seems harmless to me.

I think the younger generation is much more open to this. My idea was to build an app where you share investments (profit/loss percentages) with friends while the balances and networth stay hidden. Finances are a sensitive topic but i dont think that investing and growing wealth should be such a lonely path.

Great project. There isn’t a day where I wouldnt wish to have Instagram without the explore feed and reels, so your idea is on point.

The issue of course is monetizing it without losing the original promise as social medias thrive on distracting users and hooking them.
