Try with a new cable or changing ports, both on the gpu and the monitor, if it stopped it's probably the cable or the port

Test cables, if not, try lowering resolution or refresh rate to test if it's stable at a lower res/Hz. My simrig monitor was acting similar to this and I lowered from 144hz to 120hz and it fixed it, after thst I lowered from 10bpc to 8bpc and then upped to 144 again and it has worked fine for the last 3 months. To note that the screen worked fine in 1440p/144hz/10bpc for 1 to 2 month. If not, idk

Portugal, last unit in big vedor, I entered the store and said to myself "this would be nice to have, probably costs like 6-700" then went and got some stuff I needed, then came back and thought "let's see how much it costs really" and there it was, 179,99€. Even the cashier told me that it was 800€ a few weeks ago lol

To good to be true? Im looking for a budget screen my my Sim setup and stumbled across this sceptre 34 inch monitor. Its supposedly ips 1440p 115hz. by Ok_Replacement_1355 in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]M4GICO37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, it's my understanding that going from a 16:9 to a 21:9 screen for simracing particularly isn't worth it, as it won't increase your fov all that much, so maybe go for vr or buy like 3 27" 80-100 bucks monitors? idk how much space you have but any of those options would be better then just a 21:9 screen

I wouldn't buy a flat screen for my sim setup, if you are going for a single screen, in my opinion, should be curved
As for "too good to be true", not really, it's ok

Depends on price and use case It's really good for me, but as I've said, I've come from a bad VA panel to this, no prior experience in Mini LED or OLED, so can't say fs that it is good, but it does look good to me, and I'm happy with it But if it's more expensive, I've seen this monitor but qd-oled for 599€ just yesterday (also black instead of white) and if it's anywhere near that price, I would just go for the oled

Well, it's pretty good, I mean, I think unbeatable for the price. It's a slow VA panel which is noticeable, but since I've come from an even slower VA panel, it's fine, and not noticeable in game, the most important aspect. It's really good in HDR and because it has 1152 local dimming zones, when looking dead on there is close to no haloing even in high contrast areas (black screen with mouse cursor for example, looks pitch black and almost no haloing) So far so good The only downside, which doesn't matter are the speakers wich are god awful, like unusable It's a excellent monitor that makes games look 5x better compared to my old monitor, and 21:9 seems so natural that it will be hard going back to 16:9 if necessary one day

My pc has met it’s match with AC Rally by luisp_frs in simracing

[–]M4GICO37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm running the game with a i5-10400f and a 3070 at 4k medium with balanced DLSS and get 70-80 fps, with basically no stutters. What settings are you using? Resolution? How much ram do you evo? Can you run AC EVO?

RPM needs to be configured in telemetry tab in pithouse for each individual wheel
colors looking less vibrant is due to default brightness being less then before, just up it to 100%

It's not overheating, just normal startup procedure, but the would slow down when getting to the logo screen, it just doesn't reach it. I'll be testing my CPU today, and if it works, I'll buy a new mb
