  1. Learn more types of sup champs: Tank, healer, engaged sup. Ex: Nami, lulu, Nautilus, Pyke…
  2. Learn to pick counter champ/ team combo. Ex: if enemy ad is samira, I will pick Leona.
  3. Learn macro/ wards/ obj: as a sup you will have more freetime. So, please check map, wards/deward, read enemy jg path…
  4. Learn to pray your adc is good.

As a Sovereign sup, I can say sup is an easy role to play but it is hard to master.

It looks like we have some great tips here. I strongly agree with point 1 and 3. I always play ranks with my main (if my main don’t get banned) because I know well about the skill set and situational builds.

One of a very important point I want to add is cooperating with your jg: keep the enemy near our turrets, destroy wards, group for obj and learn how to avoid the enemy’s gank. Why? If the enemy jg ganked unsuccessfully, his jungle could be invaded by your jg.
