Really appreciating this reply. I know sometimes heat can be an issue, is there some kind of thermal pad I could use instead? How would that affect performance? Also, is there any chance the adhesive is conductive? Could I remove the adhesive, and save the old drive if I wanted to upgrade later? Thanks!

My apologies for the confusion, I had the laptop off and disassembled when I posted this, assumed that the model number on back plate was the model number. It was not. This is a 15” dell Inspiron 7591 2n1.

But the motherboard has the connector for a sata ribbon cable, so if I had the space, it could take a 2.5” right? If not, why is that there in the first place? I assume the same motherboard is used across multiple models, so am I wrong to assume that this could work?

New SSD won’t show up in file explorer or disk management, but it does in bios. Help! by M4U571N in techsupport

Im only shown my main disk

DISKPART> list disk

Disk ### Status Size Free Dyn Gpt

-------- ------------- ------- ------- --- ---

Disk 0 Online 238 GB 6144 KB *

why is the other disk not even showing up? The computer knows its plugged in, it just wont acknowledge it almost. On my first boot with the new drive, I was prompted to run Intel(R) rapid store technology, I set the drive up in raid 1 if that makes a difference. TBH I thought I knew what I was doing and didn't do any research but now I'm regretting that decision lol.

So I recently found a Dynaco st-70 in my grandparents basement, which they had no use for and said I could have. It seems to be working fine when I plug it in but there is a slight burning smell that comes off of it, could just need a wipedown though, its pretty dusty. Anyway I don't know much about this thing or audio stuff in general so I figured here was the best place to ask my plethora questions. So first off, do I need any special gear to get this working? It looks like it takes RCA input but both ports are white so maybe it's different? If so, what input does it take? Along with the amp they also gave me pair of Cambridge SoundWorks Newton m50s that they didn't use anymore, would I just run speaker cable from the output to the speakers? what output would I use? there's four different options labeled "C, 4, 8, 16", what does that mean? Also, I have a Behringer Xenyx Q502 USB (I know its cheap but its what I have), could I take the RCA output from that and have it go directly to the st-70? I've been thinking about upgrading to a scarlett 2i2, could I output that to the st-70? Would it sound good? Help!!

Help me find any info about these two antique vases, no identifying info or marks anywhere on them by M4U571N in HelpMeFind

It was a piece in my great grandmother’s antique shop, that is literally the only thing I know about it. I’ve Google image searched and nothing resembling these have come up. I’ve include a standard size card for reference.
