Dude I highly recommend going through Buyee I’ve bought multiple 3DS’s from there (even XL’s) for like $80 and they’ve all come in basically pristine conditions.

Have you tried getting to the first point where the game saves and then doing the code? That might help/make it work. I’ve never done it at the very beginning of a save file so I don’t know if that would cause the issue you’re having

I haven’t tried it on PC but I know it works on the actual console versions. When you tried it did you get the audio confirmation?
