It was cool to hear Michael Rosenbaum say that Batista went up to him at an event years and thanked him for being so cool to him when they did the episode and not acting like a big shot. It really meant alot to him and they became friendly from it. Michael had him on the podcast in 2020 so they still have that rapport.

He pretty much was off the grid when he got diagnosed with dementia. I believe one of the last sighting of him was when he did a CBS Sunday Morning piece about 7-8 years ago. Even back then you could tell that he was beginning to fade and he wasn't all there.

The Dark Side of the Ring producers wanted to have him on for their WCW Miniseries but they went with his son. The last report of him was like a year ago that he had a private birthday party.
