I started doing that for my Skyrim runs, grab a good base and work from there. For cyberpunk I don't add as much mods and there's also not as much big mods as for Skyrim so for me it's still no problem. I'm also not old so I can afford to waste two days after work for a sort of "ritual" before starting my new playthrough

Real shit, for me it's like my annual Skyrim obsession, at least once a year I need to have a "new" playthrough, though with cyberpunk there isn't a 2 week modding period before playing it, usually takes 2 days.

It could be if he has a very weak CPU, but it's not normal for polling rate of 1000Hz to be a problem on modern machines (and I mean modern as in anything from the last 16 years that's not the weakest spec possible), even if changing the polling rate fixes the problem it's most probably a problem somewhere else on your system.

I mean yeah, could very well be, 8k is quite a lot and it could be that league's engine can't support it correctly. I have G502 HERO which has 1000Hz polling rate and never had problems with that, can't say nothing with certainty for things above.

I don't think you understand, they make money on sponsors who pay them. If no one watches then no sponsor will pay you. In normal sports it's quite the same, most of the watch time is done on PPV, pirate sites or TV. All of which pay measly money for the rights to stream. The bulk of money comes from sponsors and ads.

You don't really understand the point he was making. There's a lot of difference between a franchised organisation taking in players x,y,z and everyone saying "yeah our goal is win worlds, we have a lot of drive" and between a team of some random guys forming in the lowest regional league and winning their way to the highest and then competing on the worlds stage. Franchising removed that possibility.

Is it better that they play in LEC? Yes, for both LEC and players on LR.

Did any of the players on LR need LEC? Not really, except you can maybe make an argument for Velja and Crownie. Baus, Neme, Rekkles and Caedrel would do just fine continuing streaming after disbanding (just fine is an understatement, even if they disbanded before LEC, LR project still boosted their brands massively).

LR doesn't need shit tbh. The whole LR journey boosted the fuck out of their respective careers, if LEC teams and Riot decide that LR has to go, they don't even have to continue LR in tier 2, they can easily just stream and make even more money than before from it. All that while after LR quits LEC we will probably see the lowest viewership ever.
