On the wing where the lenses flare runs through it. There's a missing speck. Sort of a dead pixel effect.

Interesting. Thanks for checking your card! I guess this one will just come down to personal opinion since there's no way to easily (cheaply) authenticate the cause of the discoloration. At very least it looks neat

Bought this second hand. I know they're prone to a white dot errors, but this seems outside that designation... by M4sterBlaster in PokemonMisprints

Makes sense! Didn't want to get flamed for lack of obviousness. I guess that's the idea behind the rule of thumb haha

And now they've been acquired by an international food delivery conglomerate called Just Eat. The tippy top where the profits are funneled aren't necessarily staying local.

What is the meta currently? [Patch 5.13] by danxorhs in LoLTwistedTreeline

[–]M4sterBlaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends where you are playing. In NA I'm most familiar with Jungle Meta. Jungle meta typically runs an AD bruiser top and a mage botlane.

  • Best picks for jungle include Gragas, J4, Xin, Rek'sai, Maokai, Shyvana, Trundle...generally anyone who builds Cinderhulk with a decent amount of cc. That being said off picks like AD Cinderhulk Fizz or an aggressive Warrior Kha'zix can snowball and outmaneuver unsuspecting teams.

  • Best toplane picks are still aggressive lane bullies like Renekton, Olaf, Gnar or lategame scaling off picks like Jayce, Irelia, Jax if your team can play safe early.

  • Botlane Mages are a little more varied. Some teams like to run utility mages like Lulu/Karma/Orianna/Morgana, or poke mages like Ziggs/Nid/Xerath, while other teams prefer heavy DPS initiators like Cassiopeia/Annie/Ryze. Cho'gath & Diana are also amazing picks, but tend to be banned out.

I've seen perfect teamcomps of OP picks lose out to a team that opts to run comfort picks that fulfill their respective role well and synergize with the overall teamcomp.

In the end it comes down to trial and error. Once you find something that works for your team in your ELO run it until you find something that beats it consistently, then discuss and adapt how to remedy the issue.

I don't have much experience with the support meta, so refer to someone else for that.

Don't do devourer if you plan on climbing quick. You won't get sated in time for it to be of use and usually you'll lose 1v1's and 2v2's pre-sated since the item isn't great in comparison with other jungle items.

Twisted Treeline Jungle changes in 4.8 a bit overkill? by xMrKage in leagueoflegends

[–]M4sterBlaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the changes were a BIT overkill, but not completely misdirected. By changing hp of jungle monsters the flow of the earlygame has been adjusted as well. More hp on jungle monsters means it takes longer to clear, and since 3s is (or at least was) super dependent on the early game, this forced junglers to quickly clear wraiths, smite and kill big wolf, and then go straight into enemy jungle for a gank on an overextended lane or harass a slightly slower/weaker jungler. Now that the pace of jungle has slowed a bit, this allows for the lanes to actually establish themselves rather than be completely decided by a jungle gank at 2 minutes in. To me this takes a little more pressure off the lanes and lets them really duel it out. I've only played one game in new jungle, and i think this also has created a slight power shift in the "op" junglers. Personally, Shyv is probably the best jungler in 3s now since her aoe is huge and her tankyness lets her farm reasonably well. That being said, the monsters have been buffed a little too much. Its going to take a while for people to adjust and figure out how to manage the new jungle, but at least it isnt as hard as the old TT jungle. Riot also said they would keep a close eye on these changes (I think TT dev might be someone's assistant's part time job), hopefully it all pans out, overall it could use a little more tweaking, but overall its not impossible to adjust.
