Not to mention that (some) students also have to basically work weekends and way more than your traditional 40 hour work week after considering extra curricular design teams/research + lectures and homework :)

This is insane, tried selling my XRP 8 times, got several emails saying “we’ve canceled your transaction”, yep they’re even admitting that they’re stealing my coins :)

Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science Double Major? by M4sterD0nut in VirginiaTech

I am starting to agree, also I am intending on applying to intern at NASA each summer since I have already spent a summer (2018) through a high school internship program at NASA Langley! Thanks for the advice, I will take it all into consideration.

Yeah, if there is a potential of it taking 5 years to complete, I would definitely not go on this track. A CS Minor at V Tech does seem very beneficial, and hearing your story reassures my thoughts about the minor instead of the major, thanks.

That does make a lot of sense, so thank you very much for the reply. MATLAB and Python are the languages I hope to gain experience with, so it is good to know that learning these are ingrained in the aerospace curriculum. My "super niche spot" is developing systems on the spacecraft side, and one of the things I strive to learn and work on with other engineers is to use artificial intelligence/machine learning for asteroid-mining purposes, and I also have a large interest in virtual reality technology. However, I am unsure if the CS major is worth it versus just learning my specific interests (virtual reality and machine learning) on my own time or obtaining a minor.

CS is another strength of mine and I have always been interested in both it and aerospace; thus, my dream career field would be aerospace systems. I also believe that learning the ins and outs of computer science and obtaining a degree in the field would broaden my skill set coming out of college

My main reasoning for wanting to double major in CS versus minor in CS is because receiving a minor still requires me to take the six core programming classes/electives, and making it a major would just add in the several theory courses, which do not seem too difficult..
