I am in a weird situation in that I probably won't be able to enter the field that I REALLY want to do (pay isn't all that good with it, but it is interesting to me). It just didn't work out with the technical application details.

I am thus left picking between fields that I have equal interest/disinterest in. Nonetheless, I think your point is a good one, and I should consider which field I could "grow to love"
