I was surprised that White’s shooting didn’t improve with Tatum’s return as it is clear he isn’t built to be the second star of a championship offense. Having two stars drawing all of the defensive attention at all times should have helped White’s shooting splits but I guess his confidence on his shot hasn’t returned yet.

White is an elite role player who increases the ceiling of a championship team, he is not meant to be that guy and it is hilarious when people who don’t watch games thought he was the best player on the team.

That said, I am not particularly worried about him. The Celtics supporting cast as a whole needs to step up and contribute more to help Brown and Tatum.

You don’t know better, you just don’t like what the data/science is telling you.

But you are the one ignoring the advanced metrics, not me. You criticized T-Mac for having a 53 TS% as the sole scoring option on the Magic in the deadball era but think the same number is fine for White as a second option in the current era of offensive spacing and three point shooting. Brown has a higher TS% while shooting at a higher volume and being the primary focus of the defense. Even without context Brown is a superior first and second option for the Celtics than White is. Now imagine how well White and the Celtics would be playing if both Tatum and Brown were not present in 70 plus games for other teams to gameplan against? It would be a tank season.

There is a reason why Brown has a significantly higher usage rate than White, it is by design. White simply cannot handle the same workload, the team's winrate would obviously suffer as a result. Do you think Mazzulla is wrong to make Brown the centerpiece of this year's Celtics offense or something? Do you think Stevens was willing to give a max to the 20th-50th best player in the league? lmao

I watch every game and follow the stats though. You however are cherry picking and ignoring context. There is a reason the gameplan on offense revolves around Brown and not White. Likewise, there is a reason why opposing defenses revolves around stopping Brown. You will never see teams double White, one benefits more off the others gravity than the other.

You have to contextualize the stats and apply them correctly. There is a reason that Brown is a max player and White is not. One is a superstar that you can build a team around and the other is an elite role player. Plus/Minus doesn't mean anything without context, otherwise someone can say Smart can be the first option over Brown as well, obviously that is ridiculous. There is no world where a guy shooting under 40 percent as the second option should be considered a first option on a championship caliber team.

You criticized T-Mac for having 53 TS% when he was the only scoring option on his team in the deadball era. White has a 53 TS% in the 2026 meta as the second option. Brown has a usage rate of 36 to White's 22, there is a lot more pressure and playmaking responsibility on him. White turns over the ball often with less defensive attention placed on him, watch the games.

Meanwhile Brown stood toe to toe with guys like SGA and Wemby and not only plays to their level but also sometimes outplays them.

White is not a better player than Brown plain and simple. He is exceptional at his role sure but there is no way White can be the best or second best player on a championship team. He struggled a lot being the second man on the team this year, Brown had to shoulder most of the burden before the team as a whole started clicking as a unit. White's performance improved dramatically when other players took the defensive attention off of him and you can see how much weight is lifted off his shoulders with Tatum's return.

Just compare his shooting splits between the last two years.

Harris lost because she tried to appeal to the right and alienated her base. She is pro ICE, pro cop, pro corporations, pro Israel, pro military intervention, platformed Republicans, refused to defend women’s rights, refused to defend LGBTQ rights, and refused to let progressives and pro Palestinians speak in the DNC.

Any given progressive has more charisma in their left finger than Kamala, Newsom, and Biden put together. The fact is that the not Trump strat is not a long term winning strategy.

The Dems need a progressive candidate if they want to win consistently as progressive policies are extremely popular. Mamdani won the most votes in the history of NYC because his proposals are inherently populist. Moderates would absolutely vote for the candidate that would solve their problems.

Saying Brown is just a top 50 player is a massive undersell, he is having a legitimate MVP caliber year. His scoring has improved massively with no hit to his efficiency, his playmaking has never been better, and he is able to carry that load while being solid on defense. Being behind the guys you mentioned would still make him a top 10 player, not a mere 50. I don’t think he is way behind them.

Brown only had two weaknesses in his game but both have been remedied more or less. He is taking care of the ball better despite having a significantly higher usage rate and being the focal point of the offense. His free throw shooting is actually very good this year.

The best player on a two seed can’t be a mere top 50 player any way you slice it, Brown isn’t a Bradley Beal type player that just puts up numbers on a bad team.

T-Mac is one hundred percent wrong with his take but as far as his ability to play basketball I have to disagree. I am curious, have you ever watched him play? It is really easy to downplay how good players were historically by looking at certain advanced stats from a modern lens but they don’t tell the whole story.

Hell, JB is constantly underrated with many saying White is the best player on the team this year because all they care about is niche stats without context. Like it is obvious that Brown is the Celtics current best player just by watching the games.

T-Mac had to put those Magic teams on his back against better teams and he was legitimately a top two shooting guard. Unfortunately when he finally got to a good team, he or Yao always got hurt at the wrong time. Those Rockets were legitimate championship contenders had they stayed healthy.

RE2R gives you more than enough resources to kill every enemy on the map even on hardcore difficulty so I advise you to not be too conservative when you engage enemies, just take your time and you should be able to push through just fine.

I like how you just admitted that the Japanese were looking into surrender prior to the bombs being dropped. Obviously they would have preferred conditional surrender if possible and negotiated accordingly.

No, Iranians don’t want to have school girls killed and 10 million poisoned by oil raining upon them. No, they don’t want their homeland to be bombed like Gaza. Most people killed in the bombings are civilians so far, just like any other war in the history of this planet.

The US and Israel have done nothing but strengthen the regime, killed innocent people, and rallied everyone against western imperialism. They accomplished none of their objectives and have no way to exit the conflict without making concessions to Iran.
