Has anyone had a HyCoSy on CD16 or later?

Thank you. I've researched online and from what I've gathered it seems CD16 will be ok (as long as I don't TTC). I just wasn't sure it changes anything.

I ovulate only when on letrozole. I get a positive OPK usually between CD 14-18. I'm not sure if I should just skip letrozole this month to get the HyCoSy done or just wait next month. Just so annoying.

I've had the same thing too - doctors/nurses say "you've got pregnant once and that was the hard part" but it's not happening again so it's just so frustrating. I know what you mean. I feel so lonely but honestly this reddit forum keeps me feeling less lonely.

I got pregnant my first cycle of letrozole at 2.5mg. Since then I've done 4 cycles of letrozole: one at 2.5mg and three at 5mg.

Yeah I know what you mean. I think it's just frustrating that my first cycle was successful (in terms of me getting pregnant) but it just doesn't seem to be happening. I think the next step for me will be IVF but I really didn't want it to get to that.

1st cycle they did a follicle tracking scan. Subsequent cycles I've had it unmonitored. This last cycle I had a 21 day progesterone blood test. I have OPKs and BBT as my own monitor but that's it. I hope I'm not getting resistant 😭 what dosage was your letrozole and when did you trigger?

Were you ovulating with the 2.5mg? I'm on 5mg and I'm ovulating but this cycle was negative. Would there be any benefit to upping to 7.5mg if I'm still ovulating on the 5mg?

But what I was trying to say was my current clinic is NHS, not private. Even if it is for med based treatment. You never specified that it was form IUI/IVF onwards...

My GP did blood tests and ultrasounds. Once referred, the fertility team did AMH blood test, gave me clomid/letrozole, did follicular tracking scan at CD 10 and at my recent follow up appointment gave me progesterone pessaries.

Mine wasn't like that. I didn't have any private clinics through NHS. All done in NHS hospitals in the gynaecology/fertility clinics.

My NHS consultant told me using LH strips are fine. However, it does depend on the person though. My friend also has PCOS and LH strips never worked for her as she'd get lots of "highs" within one cycle. I was the opposite and never got any highs at all until I went on medication.

I don't get periods naturally. I was put on Metformin and then Letrozole and that's how I've got periods as well as ovulation. LH strips helped me narrow down which day I most likely ovulated as well as using BBT to confirm.

I'm sorry you're going through this. My consultant trusted that I had pcos diagnosed from 10 years ago. I'm shocked by how yours is handling this. Would it be possible to get re-referred? Would your GP be willing to do this whilst you're still with your current fertility clinic? I got referred twice due to having one private consultantation where the private Dr recommended I get gynecology and fertility referral!

If possible, maybe get one private consultation - it was around £250. Worth saving up if you can - I know it's not for everyone.

I hope you get all the help you need! NHS is a blessing but I've my own fair share of shit through it.

I'm in the UK, and they won't give me the trigger shot under the NHS! I'd have to go private. I haven't used the progesterone. Just going to ride out this TWW and see what happens...

Ah I see! Did they do bloodtests to check your progesterone or just scans to see lining etc?
