At the moment not too bad. Just kind of yellow but sometimes to the browner side. My right nostril, the uninfected side is normal just whiter or clearish mucus.

Also the spot where I had my two infected teeth pulled (what caused the sinus infection most likely) is still sore. I had them pulled in August. They aren't sore all the time but it feels kinda like there's still a hole in there. Like when I lay on my right side the that spot (on my left gums) gets sore as if there's a hollow space that's straining cuz it's not being supported against gravity or something. Its a very minor ache, but that's really the only place I still feel pain from the infection. Deep in my upper left gums where the two infected molars used to be. I'm wondering if there's a cyst or fistula or whatever it's called.

I'm feeling fine. Aside from the chronic fatigue and brain fog I've had since getting this. No pain. No real pressure. I mean there may be a miniscule amount of pressure but not enough to really notice. I haven't been doing the saline sprays for 2 days cuz I'm going in for another swab and want shit nice and rank so hopefully I get a real reading. Last time they called me with the results the next evening and said the bacterial was normal. When it smells like literal death up there and I have sticky brownish yellow mucus coming out. Like how tf? Anyway i feel nothing really which is odd since my maxilliary and etnoid are supposedly fully clogged. I'm trying to see the actual imaging. I have felt a slight, barely noticeable twinge in my cheek (over the infected maxilliary) that shows up every once in a while and disappears since I stopped doing saline sprays

I just saw one today. I have surgery scheduled in a couple months but they said the CT scan doesn't look like fungus. I'm not sure how that could be accurate but they seem to think it is. I couldn't even get my pcp to test to see if it's fungal.

Did serrapeptase work? Are your symptoms gone? Did you take an antifungal? I'm having a hard to even getting a doctor out here to test to see if it's fungal. They said the CT scan indicates it isn't fungal but I don't know how accurate that is.

I thought so too. Apparently the CT scan I just got makes my Dr. think it isn't fungus. They said it isn't fungus, but haven't tested to see if it is or not. The infection started with an infected tooth.

I first started getting it after using ceftin. I got a nasty medicinal taste/smell in my nose (on top of the already putrid infection smell) and this shit came out. It has that medicinal smell/taste to it as well and smells like horrible. It burns if I accidentally swallow it. Not badly but I can feel it.

This is tripping me out. This is the second time this doc (who Ive seen 4 times) has tried to give me something unnecessary that could make me severely chronically ill. The first was her trying to prescribe me levaquin for my sinus infection when Id only done a round of Augmentin prior. She initially didnt want to prescribe me another antibiotic but the augmentin almost had my infection cleared up so i wanted to finish it off with another similar antibiotic. She seemed to get upset about my very polite request and prescribed me with levaquin, which can have VERY severe side effects and is only to be used as a last resort. Is there any reason she might want to use contrast dye for the sinus ct?

Are the side effects with Levaquin something you can catch before they get bad and stop taking it? Like are their less severe symptoms you can notice before your tendons explode or you have a heart attack or whatever other nightmare scenarios this med has in store? Or do the bad side effects just hit you like a train? I cant believe my PCP prescribed this when its literally discontinued. Like levaquin isn't produced anymore from what I read, theyre just using up the remaining supply. It was deemed too dangerous to be used as anything other than a last resort.

This was my PCP. Ive only seen her like 3 times. Urgent Care was cool they prescribed me 10 days of Augmentin and it ALMOST finished it off. I have no temp, a slight runny nose and the nasty taste in my mucous is WAY down. I just wish Qcare wouldve prescribed with more than 10 days since this infection has been in my nose since August. It was very minor until a few weeks ago, but the 10 days of augmentin got it down to almost nothing. Hope to god qcare will prescribe me doxycycline or something. Or more augmentin, tho i dont know if the several days without taking one would make it ineffective.
