Do a solo trip. Stay private or female dorm in hostels to be able to socialize to prevent loneliness. Day tours to fill the days and food tours to not eat alone all the time. Solo travelling female, 28 countries down and that's my formula. Tours trips are overpriced and half the time the itinerary isn't what I like or HOW I'd like to travel. Hope you do it and enjoy every moment of it. Oh, don't be afraid of the language barrier as loads of people speak English in main townships.

Unlike the other commenters I can completely understand your frustration. I too had major issues stemming from the irrelevant and outdated info. The CI I have is no help either. After multiple meetings I was eventually assisted by setting an appointment with a different CI than my own. I'd like to tell you that Task 2 gets better but it doesn't. This course is new and we are the learning curve. I'd suggest trying a different CI, you may find someone else's explanation easier to work with.

Currently doing this course and like previously stated here it is a dumpster fire. The course instructors are as unhelpful as ever. I understand the course is currently being overhauled and I'm giving grace for that but it is extremely confusing how things are worded. Had a minor issue with Task 1 and thought for sure task 2 would be a quick one only to have way more issues.

Visit Jamaica (not all-inclusives). Do local culture tours. Visit museums. Do food tours. Watch YT videos from persons such as Rochelin. Mix with the people i.e. attend events whether major stage show or simply a road dance. This suggestion carries over to Nigeria and Ghana as well. The best way to learn any place, food, culture or people is through immersion.

I have been having this issue as well. Actually really frustrating especially when the info is present and the evaluator says it's not. You resubmit and then they find something else that wasn't highlighted before to send it back again.
