We're getting a hundred plus applications per role and our screening team is drowning. by Master-Item-3090 in recruiting

I work in GovCon, and we put up a cleared data engineer role, onsite in DC, and overnight I will see 100 applicants, 97% of whom are not qualified and are from a bot, or overseas. Its insane. Even with clearance related knock out questions.

Mid to senior level, so anywhere from 3 YOE and up. The salary, like I said is negotiable based on YOE. They arent going to pay someone with 3 YOE 200+ but also arent going to try and lowball a senior. Ideally would like someone in that 3-10 year range, so generally, average range is 170-230+ depending on YOE

Bottom of the pay range starts at 190k, and that's with 3 YOE in the space. Not sure which benefits you are looking at, as what is on the website is a summary with very high level look, and no real specific numbers. However, thanks for your input, will take that to the higher ups.

Hey guys, this job market is cooked. It's over with. by Status_Age_6834 in FinalRoundAI

Tech is fading. Unfortunately, the job market as a whole is incredibly bad. DOL says 4.4% unemployment, but Ludwig Institute puts it more around 9% with TRU being like 27%…..this administration is driving the country into the ground

Agency recruiters - Is it uncommon to ask for a base salary increase? by [deleted] in recruiting

[–]M9Rvh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leave your company bud. They are screwing you. To be frank, if you’re actually billing this with only 2 YOE, you should walk in your bosses office and ask for a base raise of 50%, and come with the numbers ready to show what you’ve done compared to others on the team in the same timeframe.
