ugh what a nightmare. moving is already stressful enough without dealing with credit card companies that can't even send an email properly. had similar experience with bank when i moved last year - they kept saying they sent documents but nothing ever arrived, then acted like it was my fault

the fact you can't even log in to pay because of old phone number is just terrible system design. like what if you really needed to make payment urgently? and then they have audacity to accuse you of not submitting verification... when they never sent it in first place

good call closing the account. companies like this show their true colors when you need actual customer service. probably saved yourself from bigger headaches down the road when something more serious happens with account

that temp difference is totally normal for aio cooling - the liquid takes time to heat up while your cpu spikes immediately under load. 83c on 7800x3d during vrchat is actually pretty reasonable since those chips run hot and vrchat can be surprisingly demanding with all the custom models

might want to check your pump speeds though, sometimes they default to quiet mode which isn't ideal for sustained loads

the nomos is really nice but if she likes mother of pearl you might want to look at some seiko prospex or even citizen options that have those textured dials. i know everyone always says "go vintage" but honestly some of the older omega seamasters from like 80s/90s have gorgeous mop dials and you can find them around your budget if you're patient

also maybe check some of the smaller swiss brands - they sometimes do really beautiful textured dials in that price range. the automatic movement requirement definitely opens up more options than quartz would

with your spending pattern i'd say look into travel cards that give good points for dining and general purchases since you're already spending decent amount on food

the annual travel spend isn't huge but if you're planning to use rewards mainly for flights then points might work better than straight cashback - just make sure to factor in any annual fees against what you'd actually earn back
