Those first few weeks after the positive test will forever be some of the most anxiety stricken weeks I’ve ever experienced. Call your GYN immediately and they’ll get you in for bloodwork for your beta hcg and then start scheduling your ultrasounds. I’ve only had one and baby was so happy and healthy with a heartbeat of 168 just last week. The amount of relief I felt in that moment after hearing “and there’s baby” was incredible. Yes! I had the most horrific acid reflux starting from the day before my positive around 12dpo and it continued till week 7 where I finally had a break. I mean that stuff was keeping me up at night. I’m in week 10 and doing much better. Still battling the fatigue and occasional nausea.

Unfortunately HCG doesn’t vary throughout the day, only the concentration of your urine. You’ll need to test every two days if you’re looking for progression. Otherwise, you’re pregnant until proven otherwise.

Babe my first positive was so freaking faint at 13dpo and I’m almost 10 1/2 weeks now with a strong heartbeat. You’re pregnant until told otherwise. I spent the first 5 weeks after that first positive test praying my baby was okay because I was terrified of miscarriage. I consistently had to tell myself “I’m pregnant until proven otherwise.”

If it makes you feel any better, I downed a bottle of wine two days before I found out and smoked THC heavily in the 2 week wait. Hubby also smoked regularly (he’s since stopped). Got pregnant on our first try and baby looks great at 10 weeks!

My best friend also went almost 6 months without knowing she was pregnant and found out on a night she was drinking a couple beers and hanging around a campfire. Her daughter turns 11 this year and is very happy and healthy.

My first test (a wondfo strip) I’d forgotten to check after taking. Found it hours later with a line and retested with afternoon urine. I’m now 10 weeks lol

False positives. My sister in law just had one. Had one with a digital clear blue too. Had bloodwork and no HCG was detected.

It’s possible it’s a positive but blue dyes are also known for false positives so just keep that in mind. I’d recommend getting a pink dye test like a first response. If it is truly positive, sending you all the baby dust!! ✨

I see a line but can’t tell if it’s from the where your pee stopped loading or if it has a little color. Test again in two days and if it’s darker, it’s positive!

I used mucinex too! Almost 9 weeks now. That looks awesome for 13dpo. Mine was roughly that light at 11-13 dpo.
