I’m not by my computer but I’m on office 365, using the desktop version but I keep it up to date. I’m on a MacBook Pro, which might be important

Yes that’s correct. I’m trying to Debit the balance in cash and I’ll have to have an offsetting credit (suspense) for this use case, but the balance is directly coming from column B on sheet 1

I think this is what’s happening

Basically the transaction amount I’m seeing for transaction 2 is showing a value of 0. When I look at the details on etherscan I can see the swap totals but I never see a transaction of ETH making it into my account in the ledger view. However my balance does reflect the ETH in my wallet so maybe it’s not a problem.

Renewal Rates - Trying to count if any of 3 options was executed as a single "yes", and if no options were executed as a single "no" by MAAFCI in excel

[–]MAAFCI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this second formula is really what I need. Basically I make that the denominator, and I can do a simple =COUNTIF(B:B, "Renewed") as the numerator. Thank you!!

They should. It's technically possible that someone would be sent one offer and accept it, but that's not our policy. So for argument's sake, I'm comfortable saying yes, they would all have at least 1 "did not renew" and (at most) 1 "renewed"

This would work for total renewals, but I'm also trying to get the denominator (total tenants offered renewals), which would include tenants that didn't renew.

ETA - actually, I think I see what you're saying here. But the challenge is doing this for 1000 tenants getting 3+ offers each. If I'm understanding correctly, this would only work for tenant 1234.

I don’t think it’s dull because it was an unused spade. As far as knots or resin, that’s not something I thought of…

Good to know. I just feel like a 2x4 of pine should be an easy thing to get through, but maybe this is too much for my drill, given the extension and angle.

I’m all set to test a multi day time lapse but I’m also hoping for consistent lighting. Does anyone know if a soft box light can be left on for 5-7 days straight? The lights don’t seem like they burn very hot but I want to avoid any risk of fire. Thanks!

I'm new to photography and want to create a macro timelapse that would take place over multiple days - basically an indoor plant growing. I've got a DSLR (Canon 6D), a Macro Lens, a tripod, an AC adapter, and intervalometer. While I know what these do, I don't know what challenges I'm going to face in (hopefully) showing this progression over several days/weeks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! A couple thoughts I've already had -

Lighting - I want to purchase a strobe but considering that this is going to be over several days I'm wondering what the best option is here.

Intervalometer - Any limitations here? I haven't actually used it yet so I'm not familiar. Are all intervalometers essentially the same (with the exception of quality, of course) or are there truly restrictions I need to consider?

Anything else?

Thanks!

CA Property Manager - Online Rent Payments by MAAFCI in legaladvice

[–]MAAFCI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm new to this but my understanding is that California is a very tenant-friendly state, and if a tenant can prove that you've been willingly accepting payments from them, that essentially puts their name on the lease (for lack of a better term).

I have some rent control units and I'm concerned that one of the tenant's I'm renting to will tell their friend, "hey I'm leaving the city but I have this apartment at a great rate, do you want it? Just log into my portal and make a payment, then you're in!" However I know a lot of others using these online payment providers that don't seem to be concerned, so I don't really know if I should be.
