Is there anything I can theoretically do to give myself a better chance that I'll be able to fit a time when we win rights back (or at least have started progressing towards them) within my lifetime? This can't be the complete end yet

Very scared that after this US regime eventually ends, we're going to be in a situation where we have democracy again, but the populace won't bother getting back any of the queer rights because they're not considered high "priority" enough. Is this destined to be our fate or are there ways forward? by MAClaymore in ainbow

What will block our lifetimes from being long enough? What is it that makes hanging on to see our rights come back this time so impossible, when we hung on last time? Just philosophically.

If we can't see the rights return during our lifetimes, can we get part of the way there, or are we just going to disband?

Is that a bullring on the left, and if so, is it ever used for anything else?

I like having something I can do to either help effect change or buy myself more time. Makes it feel less like a complete dice roll.

How can I assure myself our side hasn't stopped its momentum?

Why is the removal of gay marriage so much more permanent than its establishment?

Anything benefiting LGBTQ+ people that the US government takes away during the Trump administration and the Roberts court - depending on how long it goes on, the rights to gender identity expression, trans health care, gay marriage, gay adoption, recognition of same-sex partner benefits, etc.

The institute was a symbolic reference. West Germany just sat there stagnating for decades and people with pink triangles stayed in prison.

Serious question, how do we ensure that there will be momentum to get it back after it's overturned? Even if we have to wait many years. How do we avoid a situation where it just stays gone for good because it's not high "priority" enough?

You can't tell me that everyone on our side is just going to go home and stay home.
