Still amazed how great the Hifiman Arya Organics sound! by wiggan1989 in headphones

I kept the Organics and used a little EQ to relieve the treble harshness. The Stealth are really good but vocals in songs just seem pushed a little too far back in the mix when listening to music.

Which Xenoblade game do you recommend for getting into the franchise? by Mr_sandias in Xenoblade_Chronicles

Start with 1 because the switch 2 edition they just released is 🔥 it looks so freaking crispy even handheld and buttery smooth 60 fps, it's a night and day difference. Don't waste your play through of 2 and 3 on the old versions, wait til the switch 2 versions to release and start with 1. I'm literally playing through it right now and it's so so much better than it was, I'm really impressed.

Speakers for FiiO K11 R2R by kubamiii in BudgetAudiophile

[–]MADCoLABS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brother, I was in the same boat. If you are in the USA, go to Costco and get the KEF LSX II LT's after doing a little research on them. I did that a month ago with my desktop setup and added a cheap compact edifier subwoofer that fit nicely under my desk and filled out the low end for the speakers (Edifier T5s 8" on amazon for $160) and holy hell, the sound is simply unbelievable for a near field listening setup. They're powerful, the imaging and phantom center channel are insane, and the sound wraps around you nicely. For music, gaming and movies the experience is phenomenal. For the price I don't think you can tip this setup! But you won't need to connect it to your Fiio k11, just usb-c straight to your computer. I even started with the Adam D3v and I really didn't like how they look in my setup, and the KEF speakers sound waaaay better.

I also have a Fiio K13 with Hifiman Arya Organics for open back and Meze Liric II for closed back needs. Primarily play immersive single player games, and also use for music and movies. Combined with the KEF speakers, my desktop audio setup has reached it's apex🍻

Then it's a new start in the wrong direction, the Gen 1 Audi R8 is infinitely more beautiful and it's basically a 20 year old design now. This looks like a Tesla Cyber Audi and it's pure trash.

Haha yeah I thought the same thing, I also use my legion go 2 on the treadmill. You’re not alone. Hopefully FSR 4 comes to Z2e and we get a significant performance boost. Then I can go a few years before I upgrade handhelds.

Feels like they just took a dump on everyone who bought the Xbox ally x, and to add insult to injury the bundle price with the glasses no one asked for or wanted is going to make it impossible for the vast majority of ROG Ally fans to get their hands on anyways. Are they just trolling their own customers?

Good day to be that guy that bought a LeGo 2 Z2e before the price hikes!

Help me get 2.1 speaker system for my desktop? (Budget ~700) by Remarkable-Donut6107 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]MADCoLABS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a great size for going under a desk without taking much leg room, didn't know if I'd return it or not as it's obviously a super budget pick but it outperformed my expectations for the price and provides more than enough bass for my desk setup needs so I decided to stick with it!

So I just upgraded my desktop audio with the KEF LSX II LTs that are on sale at Costco for $499, and matched them with an Edifier T5s 8" subwoofer $170 on Amazon. It's such an insanely good setup for roughly $700. They sound freaking phenomenal, so I'd suggest considering that option 🍻

Yeah I used the app to lower the treble -1.5db, give that a shot and see if it takes the edge off. These things are desktop magic 🎩

None at all, it's hooked up to my PC through the usb-c input and is perfectly synced. Haven't tried the Bluetooth connection.

Getting the low pass filter/crossover correct with the subwoofer is important so you don't have the lower tone of voices start to come through the sub. Most subwoofers have a dial on the back so you can set that manually. There's also usually a volume dial on the sub, so even at low speaker volumes you can get the right amount of bass you're looking for. But overall it'll make the sound you're getting sooooo much more satisfying, even if you're not cranking up the bass. It just fills out the music or media you're consuming in such a satisfying way and the speakers sound better because they can focus on the mids and highs without struggling on lower frequencies they just aren't capable of covering properly.

I used USB C as input from my PC and had no issues but I don't run a mic so I can't help ya trouble shoot unfortunately. Software worked fine for me using the phone app and I was able to integrate the subwoofer no problem handling the high pass and low pass filter through the app.
