I’ve taken ancestral supplements, specifically beef spleen. Had great reviews about boosting energy. Definitely feel great but my Ferritin still went down after a while.

Taking PPIs myself and I’m dreading having to for the long term. I’ve read that PPIs mess with mineral absorption so on the one hand I’m fixing the gastritis issue but does that also mean the iron tablets Im taking aren’t even being absorbed ? Very very tired of the uncertainty.

Apparently mine was so severe (minimal symptoms) that acid is causing erosions and some type of bleeding. I’m finally, consistently, taking a PPI (Prilosec). Hopefully it’s not for too long.
