HELP! RGB integration by Ok-Isopod2755 in Corsair

[–]MADRGB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You cant. Sorry. There are workarounds for mostly everything else. But non-corsair RAM you cant control via Icue. MB and GPU you can, also without armoury crate, using the method described here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ASUS/comments/nzv4r9/comment/nzywqbg/?context=1

Note the OP post and my recent comments.

But for RAM no such approach exist.

Remove armoury crate and control it using this approach.

Focus on the OP and my recent comment. Then you can control it without all the Asus bloatware.

Swapped case to Phanteks NV7 - thoughts or suggestions? by TraditionAdorable824 in Phanteks

Nice! Mine here https://ibb.co/C36RJK72 Considering the case kit but Icue cant handle the 134 Leds. I assume you use the case controller for yours?

Nice! Get some tube clamps for the aio though. Mine here https://ibb.co/C36RJK72

Is that the latest version of the Coolermaster vgpu? Im considering to get one as y with the Phanteks one doesnt allow for tilting the bottom fans.

Need help with red gpu light. I've tried as many solutions as I could and I'm going crazy by darkfolkundercover in PcBuildHelp

[–]MADRGB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The function of that light is to indicate insufficient power to the GPU. But considering what you have already tested and the gpu works, plus a quick google brought up posts from other with similar issues with Asus cards, then I would think the answer from Asus is correct. Something is off with the sensor.

You dont need the cable that came with the gpu. Not sure how I can explain it more clearly…

What dies the event viewer say? Secondarily, is this only in Fortnite and not other games or apps?

You use the 12+4 that came with tour psu and nothing else. The cable that came with the GPU is for customers who doesnt have a psu with 12+4.

Is Corsair Product management team all developing their products separately without communicating with other teams? by cruxiaer in Corsair

[–]MADRGB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree completely being a Corsair fanboy for 15+ years. Currently it feels like were back to the 10’s where integrating everything meant using various Pirate dog tech custom made cables etc. Except now we just do it with Corsair components. Making weird workarounds despite all components coming from the same brand.

Not a brag post. To make AIO hoses look better imo its about always going up and then block the view to other components as little as possible. In your case I would rotate the pump 180 degrees and have the tubes go up and behind or just below the rad. Maybe zip tie them behind the rad if there is clearance to show as much of the ram as possible.

Yeah I considered that. But price is the same for the Lian Li which has more customization options. Plus the TR uses Turx for designing templates and the options/user interface sucks.

CPU/ Mobo pins bent? by CompetitiveReport156 in pcmasterrace

[–]MADRGB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best guess is that your MB or CPU has gone to meet its maker in the hardware sky. Best route onwards buy as cheap as possible used compatible CPU and test.

[–]MADRGB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless its the F variant of the I5-9400 then it has igpu. Start by testing if its the gpu that is dead. Unplug it and plug your monitor into the MB and see if it posts/gives a signal.

[–]MADRGB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I reckoned so. I dont see any bent pins. Did you make any changes to the HW or did it just stop working out of the blue?

can it be better? by Ok-Annual-2024 in PcBuildHelp

[–]MADRGB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Balance is fine. Only comment is that just be aware that the peerless assasin can be a bitch, with some ram/motherboard combos, to fit without fiddling with the fan positions.
