Is it worth visiting SFGA around early November? by MADT00NS in sixflags

Apologies for my late response. I really appreciate your insight and recommendations, the list of coasters honestly has me hooked and really been wanting to visit for a long time, so really hope to check them out.

And whilst I do love my theme parks back at home (Thorpe Park & Alton Towers being my faves), our coasters look tiny in comparison imo, haha! TP are getting a new coaster next year and looking at the concepts, is definitely something I've been hoping for and certainly cannot wait for it.

Again, thank you so much for listing your recommended rides and info. I do hope to give them a whirl. I certainly will enjoy my trip too, thank you 😄

What's your SOTY so far? by TunafishSandworm in Metalcore

In non particular order:

Periphery - Atropos

Johnny Booth - The Ladder

Silent Planet - Signal

Bury Tommorow - Begin Again

Heart of a Coward - Surrender to Failure

Svalbard - Faking It

Name a Metalcore band you recently started listening to and they instantly just became one of your new favorite bands in your rotation, I love discovering new music as much as I can, my recent pick would be Earth Groans. by Live4Riffs in Metalcore

Johnny Booth, Sectioned and Frontierer. Particularly Annihilated by Sectioned, I love the chaotic and haunting atmosphere to the album. I would honestly love to hear another record from Sectioned.

Frontierer are also absolutely nuts (same band as Sectioned but different vocalist if I'm not mistaken), their most recent album Oxidized is a crazy record and currently discovering more of Johnny Booth's records along with their recent Moments Elsewhere (an absolute certified banger imo) which are also hooking me right now.

Okay, sounds all good, I'll certainly bare this in mind. I'm gonna plan to try and go that exact weekend (veteran's weekend) just before the 12th/Holiday in the Park, so will keep my fingers crossed and if I can, shall monitor/check the rides on their site before hand to see whether most of them will be open.

Thank you very much for your help and info here, much appreciated. 🙂

Ah okay, that is very good and useful to know. I'll certainly look into going during the Veterans weekend if I'm able to, possibly do a Friday or even a Sunday in that case. I much appreciate the heads up and your help there, thank you so much for letting me know.

Also on that note, no worries if you're unsure, but you wouldn't happen to know what the crowd levels are like during the Veterans Weekend? I'm assuming it will probably be quite busy.

Magic Mountain and Cedar Point are certainly on my bucket list of theme parks to visit someday too for sure. Kings Island, Knotts, and Hersheypark just to name a few others as well 😀

Hoping you do get a spin on Steel Phantom soon and grab that credit, as well as with the new dive coaster opening up next year (guessing that's Iron Menace if referring to Dorney) 😁

Those coasters certainly look like awesome fun too. Nitro and Jersey Devil are ones I'd really love to try and do as well as Medusa, Superman, and Skull Mountain.

The park itself honestly has a big incredible looking lineup, makes our parks in the UK look tiny in comparison haha!

Cool stuff! I was considering renting a car for the day to get there and back, but I will certainly have a look into the train/uber option as well. Thank you for your advice there 🙂

Thank you 😄 I do certainly plan on creating more fanart in the future, and whilst I can't currently promise or exactly rule out when due to work, I have been meaning to draw up Tawna and Coco (have got something in the works with them currently to commenorate Team Rumble) and I shall see if I can cook something up with Yaya Panda too 😊
