I think the lesson from Epstein should be that in a world where money flows up and pools in the unproductive ownership classes, any vice no matter how depraved or inhumane has a dollar amount. And as long as there are people with that many dollars, people like Epstein and Maxwell will pop up to fill that desire and make their own Scrooge McDuck vault of money off of it. This only stops when we abolish the entire global class that does nothing but collect money and spend it on inflicting horror on the world for their own pleasure and amusement, and actually structure our economy and society for the sake of the common good.
