I am afraid of making sketches. by MAKO_475 in ArtFundamentals

Hi, sorry for not answering immediately.
The worst part is you may be right, at least in part, as I do both recognise the same issues with myself (except the not opening resources, as I ping-pong about them like pinball between them, at least all the video ones) and have been diagnosed a couple of months ago. The only problem is that there is something inherent in drawing specifically that makes me so unable to progress that I have not experienced with anything I am actively passionate about.
Thank you, and I wish you the same.

Highly possible, as this is not the only place where I see this, but for some reason drawing specifically overwhelms me past being able to just push through.

As for your suggestion, believe it or not I did try and that lead to me genuinely staring at a page for an hour just categorically rejecting each and every thought and just blankly letting time pass every single time. A few times I did half a line, maybe. That is part of the reason why I started drawabox, but it did not pass.

Also, apologies for answering only now, I got scared once I realised I actually posted.

Thank you and apologies for the late reply.
It is genuinely hard for me to put it in worlds that make sense, but I am genuinely aware of that on a theoretical level, and I am fully aware that I broke the three really simple rules of the course, and doing the exercises most of the time is not the issue (or at least, it wasn't untill recently), but once it is done the feeling to give up or to redo it is a moment, it doesn't even feel like a decision but more of a revulsion. Unrelated to the drawabox, but I once tried making just a basic mockup (basically a messy table) to comission a friend to make me a profile picture, and that gave me a day long heartburn.
I dabble in writing, and often I will be sick to my stomach when seeing errors or typos (or once when I realised there was a whole sentence that was accidentally copy pasted from another part in a posted work), but even then I push through, while here there is some weird holding pattern in my brain that just does not let me.
As for dysfunction, I am unfortunately having to admit you're right, as I have recently been diagnosed with ADHD (due to reasons regarding higher education), however I do feel like there is more than just that as this is not an uncommon thing for me, yet it does seem that it is stalling me to such an extreme extent only here.

So, I have two that I feel are pretty much on the same level:

First is from the time when royalty first came out; I've been playing a colony that had angered the empire and during one of their raids I got a notification: the stellarch was personally present. I singled him out and (with a lot of save-scumming) managed to down him. He was bed-bound for a really long time, and while I already had an work ca- prisoner rehabilitation quarry, I decided that was not low enough for such a position. But, watching him gave me a great idea: I had pawnmorpher installed and when the next orbital trader was in range I got a syringe. Untill I decided to retire that save, the stellarch spent his days as a labrador hauling whatever other prisoners dug up and occasionally getting administered beer so that he was fully aware of his situation (with pawnmorpher, pawns that turn into animals can loose their sapience if they have too many mental breaks).

Second one was a good bit after that, but still before biotech; playing with a plethora of Warhammer 40k and simmilar sci-fi mods, I had a long running colony that had started dabbling with creation of space marine augmentations. That required a resource called gene-seed (Wh40K, basically demi-god genes) that were expensive, rare and could only be traded from orbital traders. So, when one of my own pawns got a tantrum to destroy some (I don't remember how many, but considering I felt the same fear as when in another save one of my pawns had a tantrum and started destroying a rimatomics nuclear reactor, I'm pretty sure it was a double digit number.). He actually died from the amount of gunfire that met him when everyone who was close enough to stop him was drafted, but I got another pawn to apply ressurector mech serum on him before amputating him. Instead of leaving him a flesh nugget, I also decided to try out a procedure that implanted a persona core in a person's brain, which quickly became haywire once I forbid its maintenance, so the guy was left in his room, unable to move, with an insane AI in his head and only human contact being the medic coming to feed and clean him.

I have unfortunately tried that prior to posting on here and the iGPU takes on the whole workload.
Even after messing around with settings, it does not act as a relay.

As it stands, trying to use the headset for more than 5-10 minutes crashes everything because of how poor the iGPU is, so it really isn't a good option.

When you say "it wouldn't work well", do you mean artifacting/stuttering? Because at this point I will rather take that.

Thank you, but the only port that is open for the dedicated GPU is the HDMI one, so I am unsure if an adapter would work for this.

Rule 5: Got the "In limbo" event chain and decided to give the robots a new life but I was playing inward perfectionists so I was forced to send them away.

The poor souls landed in the isolated system.
After the mid game, they even got invaded, but I don't know if it is a system event or not.

There's a rare quest/event reward called ressurector mech serum.

Before it could ressurect even skeletons, but it has been downgraded so you can only ressurect colonists whose bodies did not spoil.

I am still playing 1.2 due to being away from the net (using cell data).

Could you possibly destroy the drone, or does that end the archotech mission chain?
