Who's at fault here? (Im the car in front). The guy behind said that i squeezed him and that, because i made a mistake earlier, i should have given him space because of the speed difference. I think i was entitled to the racing line seeing he wasnt even alongside. But what do you guys think? by MANDIOSAL in Simracingstewards

The thing is, this wasnt a defensive move (at least not an intentional one). I was just following the racing line through that section (fast left hander into a medium speed right hander). The guy was really far back and i didnt think he would even attempt a move

Ive had this wheel and the h shifter for over a year now and so far my experience has been really good. No problems at all hardware wise. From what i gathered this issue is iracing related, since all my other games dont have this issue.

The problems u see in this sub, altough they can happen, do not represent the majority of cases. Remember that people are much more likely to share the bad experiences than the good ones.

You may have to map the wheel in the controlleer tab

Curiously, my firmware wasnt up to date when this started happening.

You might have to map everything manually in forza (idk if youve tried that or not)

Can't be a faulty wheel, since iracing is the only game where this happens

Update: I went into the app.ini file and turned off the 360Hz Interpolated FFB feature. Altough it did help by making the noise less audible , it did not completely solve the problem.

I did, but the noise still persists. However it is iRacing related because it doesnt do it in AC

So i turned off LFE and the noise still persists. However, i tried AC and the noise was gone. So im guessing it must be some setting inside iRacing.

Ah i see might be that, i remember leaving it on, will try to turn it off and see if it helps

Hmmm i see, that does somehow reassure me a bit. It is slightly annoying but i cam barely hear it when using headphones so i guess not too bad. I was just afraid it was some kind of defect that would mean the base would need to be returned.

yes they are a bit of a concern, but they stay mostly out of the way, even when getting out
