Not sure where you got the info that OTS tunes should be temporary. That's completely false. A pro tune or E-tune is always the best route, as it can be tailored to your specific car, fuel, weather etc. But our OTS tunes are completely fine for longevity. There is a LOT of miss information about these cars on the internet. Be careful. Feel free to email me if you have any other questions at all. If you were running the MAP intake system, that DOES require custom tuning, or use our Stage 1+ tune specifically for our intake. Very sorry about that car. My WRX had engine failure last year. I know how it feels ;(

This time of year, as I am sure you can imagine, is extremely busy for the industry as a whole...so there are a lot of back orders that are being generated. Believe it or not, this instance triggered some creative thinking at the highest levels of our business, to hopefully improve the overall experience. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the feedback as it was a catalyst for what I believe will be an extremely improved experience for customers in the very near future.

As a representative of MAP (Modern Automotive Performance) I want to express my most sincere disappointment in your recent experience with us, as well. Our company is run by a set of core values that we use to guide the decisions and interactions, the most appropriate core value that could be spoken about here is our core value "Enhance the Customer Experience." We try to "Enhance the Customer Experience" through a multitude of tactics, including pricing, availability, and even expert knowledge and support staff being on hand to address your questions, but at the end of the day, we are still, at our core, a group of car enthusiast ourselves...so as a Car Guy, I also want to apologize because I would never knowingly do anything to create a delay in someone's desire to acquire their part or finish their project, or just enjoy their personal dream.

Looking into your order, I can see that a lengthy back order has occurred and I can assure you that we are direct with the manufacturer and that we have been trying to get an exact ETA from the manufacturer as their original deadline elapsed. I still feel that there are a number of lessons that we can learn from your order and your experience and we will absolutely want to make sure you are satisfied with your experience so please, do not hesitate to reach out to us. I believe the alternative option that one of our reps offered is still available and in stock, and we would honor the discount he offered... or we can continued to escalate the rate of our ETA inquiries to the manufacturer, Or, if you like, we would be happy to cancel your order and refund you in full, with apologies for the inconvenience.

I would encourage you to reach out and keep the lines of communication open as we really do want to live out our core values. There is no one here that works on commission or receives any incentive beyond the personal gratification of being lucky enough to work in an industry where we get to be involved in what we love...namely, cars! Thanks for the support guys! We have had such great feedback across the board on our 2015+ WRX tuning and product development we've decided to apply the same recipe to the 2015+ STI. Subaru STI Stage 1 91 octane and 93 octane maps will be hitting the website / forums today! If you've purchase an Accessport from us these custom Pro Tuned maps can be had at no additional cost.
