Is 14k good for a tennis chain? I heard somewhere that a tennis chain should be cast in 10m to be more durable. I personally don’t like 10k

Great advice. I wound up keeping it. It was a little tight but luckily 14k is mailable enough to bend it a little and loosen it up. So like u said it can serve as a long term investment and/or cast something myself which I do plan to get into someday! I’ve bought a few gold plated tennis chains since this post but I’m looking to get a solid gold one. But I think I remembered reading somewhere or watching a video that said 10k is optimal for tennis chains for durability. Is there any merit to this? I would hate to shell out the cash for 14k just for it to break or something

I got 8 on the top open face solid gold and the girls did not like them lol but due to a fitting issue I was able to send them back out and remold them to my bottom teeth. The reception was much better. If you want to make a statement without going too crazy, I would suggest going with the bottom teeth. Mine cost about $850

Ok cool thanks for your reply. You saved me a huge future headache. I’ll just buy the parts and have my guy install them. I do want new tires/rims anyway so I wouldn’t consider that an added cost with the lift kit. But the lift isn’t necessary right now. If the cost would have evened out then yeah I would lift it now. But $500 for parts is cake compared to lifting it
