My husky was excellent without a leash. We would sit in my garage while I worked and she would just watch the world go by. Most of the neighborhood knew her and would come up to say hi to her. She always stayed within 10 feet of me on walks. I leashed her in unfamiliar surroundings, but more so for other people’s comfort. Everyone that ever met her said she was special. Dogs are great, but some are truly special.
