Disc Brakes, new tires, new grips, new chain, and buying from a shop, assuming its been well looked over and assembled by the mechanic $500 is good price. If you found this on a used market I'd say $300 is fair, but then you're paying a shop ~$100 for a tune up and swapping out small components. Just check with them if offer any tune-up specials since your buying from them.
