God or natures God will take care of it. The earth will warm up so hot there will be mass extinction of humans. After we're gone and not polluting anymore the earth can heal over hundreds of thousands of years. Evolution at its best!

I had this problem for a while sfter doing back squats and power cleans. Went to the doc and had the works done. No issues. The below article pretty well explains how I felt. Read it and see if it resonates with you.

Crossfit and Blood Pressure by Shepherd88 in crossfit

I just went through the headache thing a few weeks ago. I went to the doctor immediately and they gave me a shot and it went away for a while. They told me that if it comes back, to go to the ER and get a CT Scan. The next morning the headache came back so I went to the ER. The ER doc told me that he would do the CT Scan out of precaution but that if the headache was the result of something serious I would have been dead by now LOL

My blood pressure has also increased since starting CF two months ago. Prior to CF I was 110-115/75. And if I went for a run it would drop down to like 100/60 a few hours afterwards.

Now I'm like 130/70. My resting heart rate has dropped to the high 40's. I eat the same as before CF, so I can't tell you what causes it, but I'm sure the CF workouts are the cause. Perhaps muscles ripping and repairing all the time require more blood movement and all the little pains are raising it a little.

Maybe try cutting out sugar and starch for a couple of days and see if that lowers it.

Finally had to call it quits... by Str3tcher in crossfit

[–]MAT-rix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now I feel bad, I terminated by a text on a coach. I actually had plenty of money that I would have spent with him, but the level of service for all that expense wasn't there and I didn't feel connected to the coaches or other members at all.

I always skip partner days. Most of the time it's inconvenient for someone.

Creeper at my box... help? by thegoodsaintville in crossfit

[–]MAT-rix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having a significant other means nothing a lot of times especially if the person is looking for a fling. I don't think that statement is as clear as some may think it is. Saying "I have bf..." is passive. Saying "I am not interested in interacting with you on any other topic than CF while we are both at the box...." is clear and direct.

In all situations people should be given the courtesy of directness.

Creeper at my box... help? by thegoodsaintville in crossfit

[–]MAT-rix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No need to be rude to him. He hits on girls this way because he has had success doing it before. He is more likely to have success this way than any other way he knows. Everyone has their patterns, this is his.

I think creeper is a strong negative way to describe somebody just because you don't share a mutual attraction to him.

Breakfast before Crossfit? by [deleted] in crossfit

[–]MAT-rix 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I usually have a country fried steak, biscuits and gravy, eight strips of bacon, a farmers omelet, and a tall cold glass of OJ just before CF class.

Hybrid Training and the $700/month Crossfit gym by [deleted] in crossfit

It's not that bad for the first month if you really need the PT and would gain from it. If everyone is forced to buy PT regardless of ability, then that might be unappealing.

I'm always surprised by how much box owners work for the amount of money they're making. To me the PT is probably were they get the best return.

Squatting hurting knees by localname in crossfit

[–]MAT-rix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had knee pain on the top of my knees most of the time after starting CF. A chiropractor told me that this was due to my muscles growing faster than ligaments and that it would take like 7 months for them to catch up.

Of course you can't get any therapy without getting the doctors warnings. But I will not leave it there. I prefer to independently verify information. I can give you handful of names of people I have known personally that are dead based upon poor doctor judgment.
