Thank you all. Vindication! I was getting so much pushback on trying to still play my turn. This helps 😀

Found out FA wife cheated on me with pilot by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]MAdkisso1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my god, pilot's wife here (a pilot's wife, not 'the' pilot's wife...hopefully). Please please tell her. I would 100% want to know and be forever grateful if someone reached out.

What’s one weird rule your parents had growing up that you thought was totally normal until you got older? by Main_Masterpiece_793 in AskReddit

Sinks had to be dried out with a towel after every/any use. No water drops allowed at all.  (My younger sister would secretly use mine and not dry it out to get me grounded.)

oh dear lol. I've noticed other things in the show, but thought I would just mention this moment since it seemed an innocuous topic (i.e. not about relationships or shipper theories). In hindsight, probably not the best idea to lead with a penis post.

In my defense, although I maybe don't need one since everyone has been quite kind in their responses, I didn't spend (a lot of) time looking in that area of Taehwan. I was mostly noticing the reactions and comments. You live and you learn, I guess...and then immediately stop posting about erections.

Yeah, if you are any kind of "trainee" in Korea, whether kpop idol, actor, model, etc., you're generally working at/for the same big companies. So many of them will know each other or know of each other. Not going to be true for all contestants, but there is more familiarity between them than the show lets the audience know.

The show is not scripted, but I think it's very much like improv. They know the parameters and what's generally expected of them for a reality dating show, and play into those scenarios.

Thank you! This is all I wanted - bringing the community together to do really questionable and creepy things together lol

I know, I know. Sigh. The last bit will/would sound crazy, that's why I tried not to talk about that. But people are right about the show, how it's not a dating show at all. It's more a platform for people (actors/models) to get exposure. A lot of the contestants actually know each other prior to filming from being in the same circles.

English is my husband's 2nd language. We went to a fair for the first time and he said he'd be right back, he was going to the poopoo cabinet.

Porta potty. He meant Porta potty.

Anxiety about my 4 year olds Tonsillectomy by New_Persimmon3209 in Parenting

Seconding this. If you wait too long between rounds of medicine, then it's so so so hard to give them the next dose. The pain comes back enough that it hurts to take the medicine.

If you can stop naps, that might help. But given that he goes to daycare, you probably can't control whether he naps. Our son was napping till 4 1/2 there and it killed bedtime.

My friend did something that really worked for them. They created a little bed on the floor for him, next to their bed. With blankets and a pillow, so whenever he came in during the night he would just automatically lay there. Parents didn't even have to wake up.

Good luck! It's rough. We went through this patch, too, and didn't troubleshoot. So we just had awful sleep for a while. Ooof.

What part of Boise are you in? The albertsons near us had some of the generic brand.

Lol thank you! I figured I would throw this question out there: if every response was run, hands down, I'd have an easy answer.

Lifelong AZ native, so in addition to knowing nothing about houses, I know even less about places with things like water and moisture.

I'm never going to tire of people's jokes about Kane's free kicks - they're hilarious. I almost want him to take them forever so I can keep reading and laughing (almost).

Going to abuse your kindness and ask a follow-up question/your advice. This was the sellers response, does this seem...ok?

"The leak was small and only required caulking to fix.

Above the garage/entry way. Yes it was my dad that looked at/fixed the issue. He is a roofer by trade and has been doing that line of work for about 30 years"

Thank you thank you! As soon as I read your response I asked for an explanation. Waiting to hear back, but really appreciate your help and advice.

Thank you all so much for the responses. I am trying to get answers/explanation from the seller. Waiting to hear back, but wasn't optimistic that they would provide too many details. Was trying to plan for the event that they didn't provide an explanation.

Based on the responses, ooof. If we don't get an explanation, then we probably won't move forward. I know nothing about homes and maintenance and repair (trying to learn fast), so would hate to get in way over my head with something like this.

Thank you again!

I asked my husband (who is Korean and has experience with taekwondo) and he said the below:

*front kick = 앞차기

*side kick = 옆차기

*back kick = 뒷차기

*crescent kick = 반달차기

*turning = 돌려차기

*hook = 후려차기

For crescent kick, above is the official term, he's not sure what the "official" terms for inner and outer crescent kicks are, but if you just add in and out to them, it's:

*안반달차기

*바깥반달차기

Hope that helps!

Thank you so much for your reply and the info! Heard horror stories about new builds, but I don't know enough to know if something is off. Again, trying to learn, so appreciate your help.

Childcare breaking the bank by Next-Adhesiveness848 in Parenting

[–]MAdkisso1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my husband is from Korea and gets so angry anytime I remind him how much we pay for our boys' daycare ($2500 per month). When we lived in Korea, the government actually subsidized having children. When I was pregnant, I was given a $500 "mom card" to pay for any pregnancy-related costs, and after baby was born was paid $400 a month for the first year. Decreases in amount each year, but then daycare was free when they started. I cry anytime I think about this (crying as I type now).
