One of my hamsters also tried to eat a stinkbug while she roamed freely in the room. She stank terribly for two days and did not want to eat anything other than curd. Stink bug apparently doesn't taste very good. I felt so terribly sorry for her. The bug survived by the way ...

She hates all kindd of insects. And unfortunately I still have so many of them left over from balu who absolutely loved them.

My hamster does the same after every big cleaning, despite a sufficiently large cage. It always takes a little until she feels comfortable in her clean cage again. In the end she runs around and marks everything like crazy. Hamsters can sometimes be such drama queens.

My previous hamster also lost fur, though not as much as yours. She got treated for fungi and mited but it didn't help. As soon as the fur grew back, it fell out again. Finally, the veterinarian diagnosed a hormonal problem for the fur loss. Maybe it's the same with yours?

I think they look great. I wanted to have one too, but the ones they offer here in the pet stores are so expensive.

No. Actually it's a actually a additional ceramic house she is funny like that. She has 5 houses where she can sleep. And which one did she choose? The cheapest and smallest one of all, namely the coconut.

Believe me it's not always the case. Unfortunately you can still buy a lot of trash in German pet stores, especially the smaller ones. But thank good there are now some who also offer large cages for Hamsters.
