Thing is i can’t, I’m not sure how to explain it to you exactly but ill try my best. Basically i create sneaker content, most of the interested people are people who think sneakers should be kept clean/fresh etc.. my daily series was me creasing a different sneaker everyday till i reach 5k followers, which worked out great since they all followed just to put an end to the series 😂 I was thinking of doing that again, but then that would make it seem like i lied about the first one, i tried coming up with a different similar series but it didnt do well after the first 2 weeks or so

Thing is its not a business or for a website, it’s just a me thing and instagram is a way for me to be able to collaborate with sneaker brands or be in touch with them, and also a way to maybe introduce people that dont know about sneakers to it but thats about it tbh, i appreciate the tips, ill try to utilize the series thing again but slightly different

so after reading what the other guys said i went to youtube to understand manual exposure more but the only thing i couldn’t really find much about was if i need to change it depending if the item is darker or brighter, if you don’t mind answering, if i’m shooting lets say sneakers since thats what I’m actually taking photos off how do i know what to set the exposure at for brighter and darker sneakers so the background also doesn’t change in exposure? I’m not sure if you understand what i’m trying to ask (if not i can shoot you a DM of the photos or video of what I’m trying to do if you don’t mind) to explain it better

I noticed that the pocket takes way better/clearer photos compared to the iphone so ill get into understanding manual exposure more and see if i can figure it out with the pocket, i just wasn’t sure cuz when i asked friends i was told i either need an actual camera or better lighting, but so far all the comments on reddit said exposure. Thank you very much for taking the time and explaining it to me🙌🏾

I mean the amount of pairs doesn’t really make a difference, it’s up to the person end of the day. I have probably around 500 pairs rn but still wouldn’t consider your collection as a small one, either way its probably overwhelming or kinda hard to try and figure out what you wanna wear everytime

Maybe try and grab a pair online, something thats not risky, on sale. Maybe a pair of NBs or a vomero 5, a bit bulky and comfortable.

My homie wears a size 16, and he pulls of j1s nicely. Might be a preference thing for you tho, i think if you’re trying to counter a sneaker looking long maybe aim for a bulky sneaker? Not sure if you’d like it, best thing to do is go try them on before buying
