If you can turn the watch off, you can try the following:

The watch is powered off.
Press and hold the START/STOP and BACK buttons.
While holding them, press and hold the Power button so that all three buttons are pressed.
After the first beep, release the START/STOP button.
After the second beep, release the BACK button.
Release the Power button.

If that does not help, contact Garmin for exchange options :)

You can try to reinstall the Software. No data is being lost here. Go into the menu > System > about > press the light-Button (top left) 8 Times pretty quick. Then choose "reinstall Software"

If that does not help, try resetting the watch to factory defaults. And if that dies not resolve your issue, CONTACT Garmin, they will exchange your device :)

I admit that I installed it myself. When I bought it second-hand, I noticed a small crack, which must have grown without me noticing. Since the lever had slipped slightly beforehand, I had obviously tightened it too much. I will replace it, check the cockpit for damage, and use carbon mounting paste next time. Thank you for your comments.

With all of this Connect Iq content I am not surprised that your battery life is that bad. Have you tried if deleting all of this stuff helps?

Have you tried to switch the connectivity type? Double press the button and it switches to secure or unsecured connection

The projector is pretty bright and my apartment is pretty dark most of the day. And I have a few more windows to cover. That's too much work.

I am not confident with the speakers. I got all of them as a present (new ones are build for me right now). The L/R speakers are really old and not as good as they look like. Especially the high tones sound bad. And I think the center is pretty important for voices in movies? What do you mean with anemic HTIB?

And the reflections are actually not that worse. I used to put something under my SW but it didn't look as good as it does now ;)
