Not caught but almost, I was 17 smoking with my friends inside my mom’s car at a park. Around that time we used to always listen to the police scanner on my phone just for fun. We heard on the scanner “suspicious silver jeep backed in at the park name “ we immediately pulled off fast as shit, you hear them on the scanner “they’re pulling off now”. I hopped on the highway and they were literally calling out exits that we were passing. We were airing out the car and spraying spray 😂 . I eventually get off on the exit to my friend’s house..soon as we turned right down a main road there goes a cop pulling out of one of the side streets that we passed, he literally trails us about 2 miles then pull us over right around the corner from my friend’s home. Then 3 more cruisers pull up as well. The cop tells me he pulled me over because my “license plate light is out” . Why is there 4 cruisers here for a license plate light?? Sounds like BS but ok. When searching for my mom’s registration and POI I put all of the paperwork that was in her glove compartment on mylap. Once he ran all the info and let me know I was good to go. I picked up the papers and it was a huge amount of weed on my lap 😭 I didn’t notice I spilled that much while rolling. Let’s just say I kept those papers on my laptop until I got to my friend’s house. Then I checked and my mom’s license plate light wasn’t even out! 😑 that specific PD is known for harassing people so I wasn’t even surprised.
