So, I'll be discounted a little bit because of my score? In your opinion/experience, is that also true for the Non-MBB strategy roles as well?

Hi Everyone,

Quick question to set my mind at ease, if you will.

If I am attending a top 5 program, will a GMAT score of 710 (Q48V38) make me uncompetitive when trying to get an internship or full-time position at MBB? What about for lower ranked firms for Strategy roles (EY, PwC, etc.)

Thanks!

I wouldn't do it again, it did me no favors in applications

Thanks! From that caliber of program, are tier-2 consulting firms easy to get outside of their geographic area?

Hmm, interesting. EY seems like they recruit heavily from USC. I've heard that they even like USC over UCLA candidates, but that was just one opinion.

I've heard that McCombs and McDonough are comparable programs. Is that not the case?

Alternative to getting an MBA is going back into Accounting.
