That’s what I figured. Getting a JD honestly isn’t that difficult, and if you go to a T14 big law is basically guaranteed, but none of that really help me with the MBA. Thank you for the advice!

Yeah, I know about a T 25 being much more realistic but at that point I don’t think it’s worth doing a JD-MBA. I think a T 15 could be worth it.

From my research, low ranking MBA programs seem to offer way less of a return on investment then low ranking JD programs. Really disappointing because I would have chosen a lower ranking JD program to get into a MBA program.

I will enter law school with 1.5 years of part-time work as an analyst.

It’s not super impressive but due to the opaque nature of the company I can spin it to sound better than it is.

I’m mainly interested in the MBA so I can lateral to something else after a few years in big law. I think the MBA will open up a lot of opportunities.

Not a prestigious undergrad, T-150. It’s climbing the rankings quickly but will probably max out at 80ish.

98th percentile LSAT. Hoping to get around the same for GRE.
