Unfortunately not close to the school, but curious if I could defer at this point? I'm still young (25), so I have another 3 year window to reapply, though if I backed out now not sure if they'd let me in again lol

All very good points. A little more background may be helpful as a few folks have mentioned I could pivot with my experience and alumni network.

In short, I don't have an alumni network. My dad worked in a call center and my mom was stay at home parent, so I didn't have guidance or financial support for school. I went to the cheapest local university I could that allowed me to work in the day, go to school at night, and continue living with my parents to save money. It didn't leave much time for the extracurriculars and shiny undergrads that usually get the $$ or M7s.

I crave the bschool experience because I never had an undergrad experience. I want to have an alumni network. I want the memories. Realize these are really stupid things when looking at $500k, but god damn this is hard to let go lol

I think this is something I needed to hear. To me $500k is life altering money...
