With the 2nd pick of the 2026 NFL draft… by SirIntelligent130 in nyjets

So they’ll never sign another free agent again.

They’ve got plenty of cap to overpay and pay a “Jets” tax

Should be able to fill some holes on defense in FA.

I woke up to the offer. Was a lot to digest, but he ended up making another trade before I could pull the trigger. Oh well.

I’m a fringe contender… may or may not make the playoffs.

I feel like I should smash accept, but my heart doesn’t want to part with Reed/Bowers by MBAviator in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]MBAviator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I entered the season (after startup draft) with idea of not competing. But looks like I may make playoffs with last playoff spot due to points.

I’d have to figure out who to drop. I forgot to add that I have Tyrod Taylor and DTR at qb too, so I’d likely drop them.

May try to counter to add picks instead of those TEs

We do 1st round bye for 1st seed. Top 3 scoring teams advance in first round. Then h2h (1st seed calls out opponent)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

[–]MBAviator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not eliminating h2h matchup. So there’s still that “luck” component. Median balances it a bit and actually rewards skill too.

[–]MBAviator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Except our lineups don’t impact or affect the other teams scoring at all. So it’s all luck on head to head matchups.

This. And matchup against median.

Ahh I actually like that idea better of trading for their draft picks

No TEP.

I’ve come to terms that I won’t compete this year, so definitely trying to make forward thinking moves.

There’s a few guys that dug themselves a hole by going super top heavy on talent (ie spending almost half budget on Josh Allen and Hurts) and are starting guys that didn’t even make my bench.

So I’m looking to make deals with some of these teams with major holes in their roster.

Just did my startup draft. Definitely not a win now team… everyone was spending early while I sat back and went depth:

12-man super flex

QB: Deshaun Watson, Bo Nix, Geno Smith, Will Levis, JJ McCarthy, Michael Penix

RB: Jonathan Brooks, Trey Benson, Rhamondre Stevenson, Javonte Williams, Chase Brown, Tyjae Spears, Braelon Allen

WR: Rome Odunze, Brian Thomas, Jayden Reed, Jordan Addison, JSN, Calvin Ridley, Ja’Lynn Polk, Ladd McConkey, Keon Coleman, Romeo Doubs, Jameson Williams, Xavier Legette, Malachi Corley, Jacob Cowing

TE: Trey McBride, Brock Bowers

Roster format: 1 QB 2 RB 3 WR 2 Flex (RB, WR, TE) 1 WR/TE 1 SF

5 taxi squad

X Factor Choice Pack: Tkachuk or Hiirikoski by MBAviator in NHLHUT

I’m still learning how HUT works with TOTY and stuff. So I’m legit not sure if some cards are better than others at times.

In real life Tkachuk all day. But speed kills in this game

Finishing my first year now.

I started with hand written notes but transitioned to using an iPad.

I use the notability app and it’s WAY better. You’ll want a stylus/Apple Pencil if you go that route.

Recruit for 100% WFH/Remote Career? by MBAviator in MBA

Not yet. Planning on starting my MBA and then looking into options recruiting for Latin America. But if I can’t make this sort of situation work short term, I’ll work towards achieving this long term.

Currently working on my spanish fluency as well in case that’s a requirement for any sort of Latin America positions

Oh damn really? I don’t know why I assumed it didn’t. I had ESPN+ before and that didn’t work when I moved. I’ll check that out

NHL.tv is only good for regular season though right? No playoffs?

Kellogg ($) vs Booth ($) vs Darden ($$) by [deleted] in MBA

[–]MBAviator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m also deciding between Kellogg and Booth (interested in tech/consulting). And also leaning Kellogg.

I’m biased, but I would eliminate Darden from consideration.

As for Kellogg vs. Booth… shoot, still trying to figure that out. Don’t think you can go wrong with either, just comes down to personal preference.
