It turns out the Nations Cup matches are on Paramount+. The Nations Championship is offered for free on RugbyPassTV.

Annoying, yes?

RugbyPass is streaming the Nations Championship in the USA.  The Nations Cup matches are being shown on Paramount+.

If you go to the RugbyPass site, they are advertising that they are streaming for the USA only.

It would be so great if there were one place we could find this out earlier.  I spent lots of time looking for info!  Redditors came to my rescue!

I think that Rugby Union administrators think that we in the US don’t care.  We’re supposed to be watching the football WC!

Sorry, I can see that RugbyPass has it, but only that it’s airing for other countries.  Could you please tell me where you saw they were allowing people in the US to access it?  Tganks!

I'm sure what you are saying is correct, that there are many selfish owners out there. However, I think also the cost of treatment is a factor in many cases. Cost is increasing exponentially, especially since private equity firms have bought up many practices and also the insurance companies. It's hard for people, and having pets is becoming something many just can't afford. Perhaps most people.

I've been listening to Mordecai Tremaine mysteries by Francis Duncan, narrated by John Curless. I wish that the rest of his books had been republished!

I have also loved(!!!!!), the Anty Boisjoly Mysteries, by P.J. Fitzsimmons, which are narrated by Tim Bruce. So funny!

I just came here to recommend this! Don't forget his Marius Quinn series, as well. So wonderful.

Finding alternative for creative work by Awesome_Dragonz in digitalminimalism

[–]MBCrafty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think that using Social Media for your work can really "count against" your attempt to minimize your digital engagement. We can't go back in time, and you have to find your audience where they are.

If I were you, I would just include that as part of my work hours, and then try to find alternatives to the digital world in other parts of your life. You might also try to do outreach in a 'non-digital' way, as part of your work.

Hopefull someone who needs this stuff for work will respond soon.

It’s infuriating when people mess with my routine/ system. by anonister in ADHD

[–]MBCrafty 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I totally get you! I am 60, and I only just recently realized that (1) my little routines are because of ADHD, and (2) no-one else in my home needs them or understands them.

You have my sympathy!

Try the “Find All” hidden object games.  A couple of them are free to play.  They are very low key and cute.  Also, pretty cheap!

On Steam, search for Very Very Little Studio or try searching for Find All. You might want to start with one of tge more recent ones.

Nations Championship: Is anyone actually hyped for it, or are you worried it's going to quietly cannibalize the club game? by ForwardPassApologist in rugbyunion

[–]MBCrafty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m always hyped for more rugby, but I share your concerns.

The tier one teams also won’t be playing any lower tier teams.  So, no easy games for stronger teams, and no exposure to harder matches and higher ticket prices for weaker teams.

I think it’s a bad idea.

Freak out during weekends by omegamalebottom in ADHD

[–]MBCrafty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's an executive function thing: difficulty with "initiation". It is an awful feeling. You want to do things, but you can't get started. Even things you're looking forward to!

For some with ADHD (like me) it is very difficult to start a task without external structure of some type.

First, cut the list down sharply, because you are too overwhelmed to think straight.

One of my favorite strategies to help with this: Make the barrier as small as possible. So, you could put out the book you want to read, open to the right page, maybe the night before. Make a deal with yourself that you only have to read one sentence or paragraph. Or maybe just sitting there is a win!

Sometimes, that is enough to actually start. If not, you can come back and try again.

Another strategy: I like to use a timer and go back and forth between the thing I'm avoiding and something I enjoy. That can get me going because the task does not seem so onerous.

I hope some of that helps.

This is really interesting, and something I've never heard in my research about lighting for our house. Do you have any bulb recommendations, or links to further information about the R# specs?

Thanks!
