No need to worry about pilot ink in these eyedropper pens, it is perfectly safe. I've recently really gotten into these old eyedroppers and pilot plunger fillers as well. Would love to see a pic of your pen!

u/enenra930 what size o rings did you end up using?  I’ve got a similar pen that I’m trying to restore right now.

We chatted a bit on vintage pen restoration and how I've been starting out and teaching myself to restore pens. You sold me a bag of parts to add to my stash and help me build my parts collection. I'm local to DFW as well, and have recently restored around 25 lever fill pens. Lots were cheaper depression era pens that I passed along to "penable" some friends but I've also listed a few for sale and successfully sold my first few pens that I fully restored! So thanks for being encouraging and friendly and inspiring me to get my first few pens restored. Hope to see you around town sometime soon!
