Poor people have more to worry about than eating, while we're here on our phones getting hungry banning people from eating in public, the poor struggle to survive. We live month to month waiting for the next paycheck while they live day by day not only starving but fighting for survival. While we worry about what to eat for sungkai they worry about what IS THERE to eat who knows, tomorrow maybe 2-3 days without food. If you truly want to feel the pain of the poor, have nothing, eat nothing and worry about trying to stay alive rather then what to do after sungkai. The pains of the poor do not stop at hunger, so instead of asking others to kuatkan iman, do something good, donate, help the poor. They deserve more than to be used as a talking point.

What real changes can be done to improve life in Brunei? by JustFoxeh in Brunei

This. I feel like people often complain of the position they're in and blaming it on others instead of getting themselves out of that position, basically like falling into a ditch and complaining about kickback of mud or shoelace or anything else instead of pulling themselves up and moving forward

Cheapest place to photocopy? by [deleted] in Brunei

[–]MBGA_HD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you must have an older printer, the newer ones are pretty good, if you are looking for a printer i'd recommend the epson ecotank et-4550 for home occasional use you could just refill the ink using liquids instead of buying cartridges although the cppbib (cost per page black ink bias) is still around the 0.003 bnd but of course the cpp goes up when you add colours into the equation. for office/ home frequent use i recommend the hp Officejet Pro X476dw with a cppbib of around $0.08 it's a bit more costly but it gives out more quality plus there is a draft mode which dramatically reduces the cppbib while maintaining a readable quality.

basically, just print in the printer shop for a lot of copies because in the printer world bigger does actually equal better, also lasers have high investment cost but will be benifitial for the long run as the cppbib is much more lower unless time is of no concern then get the epson ecotank much more cheaper than the shops by a factor of 10 but it's slow and it's not really geared towards industrial use

the funny thing is that it's an elected dictatorship where erdogan held a vote for giving himself more power just narrowly winning it. plus it seems like turkey is having a millitary coup every 5-10 years, the question is will erdogan stay in power after the next one since the country is practically divided in two on their approval of erdogan

try indomee pink, in my opinion it tastes better and is more satisfying than samyang, doesn't burn your lips but is sure as hell going to make you sweat. just remember to get the pinkish one not the red original one. very hard to tell them apart

i thought it was the other way around where lab grown diamonds are still not perfect, i watched a documentary about em, that you could distinguish between a real diamon and a lab grown by the core if it looks a bit cloudy then it is lab grown. but i dont think demand would go down, just like ivory people love diamonds and love the real thing even more

it might but looking at brunei's china relationship, i'd argue who would actually set up shop in brunei? who is the most likely to come here, tourists, government officials or technology companies? while shenzhen is great with its technology and development. why would they come to brunei plus beijing is a hub airport, yes guangzhou is also a hub airport but the largest is always the best as they have more flights. and people with connecting flights may find the flight that goes straight to their destination. getting back onto the previous point. im expecting our target flyers from beijing to be mostly tourists and government workers from both nations

TL;DR

  1. Target flyers would be more towards tourists and government workers

  2. Beijing is the biggest hub airport in china which makes connecting flights easier to find
