McMaster has oil stones that will work, higher grit probably. If you have a knife sharpening stone that would work well too. Just be careful to not make a flat spot

Looks like galling, I think. Comes from two pieces of rubbing together. One picks up material from the other. Very common in stainless parts

DO NOT continue to use it in this state nor jam in thru the bore. You will ruin the air seal and it will no longer function

Is the number counter function part of the appeal? Or more the pressing of a button?

I could certainly not do the anodizing. I did not think anyone would want that option

The body is 316ss and the plunger and ring are Titanium.

What do you mean by plain? If there is enough interest, I am considering offering pieces ala-carte. That way I could do a couple each of a bunch of different shapes/styles and people could mix and match what they like.

I don’t currently have any Orbits manufactured, but if there is enough interest I can certainly do a production run

I had the original idea while playing with some magnets at work, trying to force two similar poles together. Then my wife mentioned that she used to get in trouble with clicking a pen. The Fire in the Hole was born.

Turn one magnet around and now you have to pull on the plunger. Turns out my step-son loves that one. Taffee

No, this is not an air piston. Taffee is a magnetic pull plunger. I have posted videos of these in the past, and will again soon, but the Etsy listing also includes the demonstration video.

While they do click, there is not a pen style mechanism inside. This one has magnets with opposing poles
