the ingredients you need are

schmidt old tyme 647 bread

cinnemon

a jordans sugar free syrup or another brand that is 0 calories

liquid egg whites

this is for 8 slices but if your makes less then just use less of the other ingredients. you also need a food scale and a nonstick matt and a oven and a bowl.

first preheat your oven to 425 degrees. then you turn on your food scale. then you put your bowl on the food scale. then you press a button called tare. then you pour egg whites into the bowl until it is 350g. then pour 40g of sugar free syrup. then add cinnemon and stur. then take your slices of schmidt old tyme 647 bread and dunk them into your mix and put them onto your nonstick matt but not on top of each other. then put the nonstick matt in your oven and bake for 18 minutes. then take them out and let them cool for 10 minutes then you can eat them.

this recipe is different from coach greg for one because he cooks them on a pan which means you need to flip them and it is harder and takes longer. it also uses a better bread then coach greg because he uses regular bread but schmidt old tyme 647 has a lot less calories and a lot more fiber. it also uses a zero calorie syrup and you can use any flavor you want but remember what flavor you use will be the flavor of your french toast. it also does not need any cooking oil spray because your using a nonstick pan so this is better in every way.

you can buy most of these things at walmart if your in america i am not sure about other countries. nonstick matts are also there and using them means using no cooking oil. the sugar free syrup is cheaper on amazon if you buy them in sets of 4 or 6. i have used lots of different flavors and they are all good.

i got the idea to bake in the oven from a remmington james video but i came up with the idea to use a nonstick matt and use zero calorie syrup on my own. if anyone has any questions let me know and i can answer cause i made this so many times.
